Lightly embellished with simple embroidery stitches, the kit includes everything you need including thread.  Printed in Melbourne on a linen cotton base, ready for you to embroider and embellish as you wish. Finished size approximately 16cm x 16cm.

1 Fat Quarter (50cm x 55cm) of light weight fabric. When considering your fabric selection, we recommend a busy print, preferably withoout a pale background.

This beautiful hexagon shaped sewing box is a striking example of craftsmanship and skills dating back to the early 1800’s. The sides fold out once the internal cord has been released exposing ample storage for your treasured sewing tools, threads & accoutrements. Dont be afraid to be bold with your  fabric choices, take your time and enjoy the process.  The sewing box is quite generous in size, when closed it measures 20cm D x 25cm W x 29 H.

Note: The fabric measurements are based on fabrics 112cm wide with a non directional print. Please also allow for more fabric if you need to fussy cut. We recommend using 100% cotton, in a quilting weight.
