Inspired by beautiful vintage French seed packets, this kit uses carton age and embroidery techniques to make a charming needle keep that folds in two ways. This project is one of a series of distinctive designs illustrating glorious garden flowers and vegetables. Designed by l’uccello and printed in Melbourne.

This quilt features some classic old quilt blocks, combined with a super scrappy collection of fabrics, it is designed to complement l’uccello’s larger floral fabrics and our wide collection of smaller prints and wovens. The quilt is designed to be very scappy and benefits form a wide selection of fabrics in a variety of colours.
The quilt was machine pieced but can also be done by hand if that is your preference, the pattern includes 3 templates to make cutting out easier either way.
The finished size of the quilt is approximately 2 metres x 1.8 metres.

Lily’s Quilt – Limited Edition Quilt Kit & Pattern *PRE ORDER

This quilt features a fun variation of an old quilt block called Strength in Union, combined with a wonderful scrappy collection of fabrics. It is the perfect project to use up precious scraps or to collect a wide variety of new fabrics.
Kit includes:
Over 100 different fabrics, mostly fat 16ths, including fabrics by Liberty, Tilda, l’uccello, French General, Judy Newman, Dutch Heritage to list just a few.
This collection of fabrics includes many of the fabrics in our original quilt as pictured on the pattern. Each kit will be very similar but may vary slightly for the one photographed.
There is over 6.8 metres of fabric in total, this should be sufficient for well over half the quilt, however it will depend on how much fussy cutting you prefer. (The kit contains 110 fat 16ths, the pattern requires approximately 179)
We do recommend adding any special fabrics from your stash that you think complement the selection, the scrappy look of this quilt only gets better with more fabrics.
The quilt was machine pieced but can also be done by hand if that is your preference, the kit includes the pattern.
The finished size of the quilt is approximately 80″ x 80″
Please note , it was not possible to include all of fabrics in the original quilt as some are old, out of print fabrics. However, many of the original fabrics are in the kits and they present a lovely selection very close to the original.
