Perfect for couching this fine gold thread is in excellent vintage condition. There are quite a few meters in this hank, however we have not unravelled it to find out exactly how many.

Very special antique French glazed linen thread on a large wooden spool with a delightful original label. This would have originally been used for “ameublement” meaning furniture or furnishings so probably used in the upholstery and furnishing trades.

457m of thread on each spool.

The spool measures 6.5cm x 6cm.
