Sajou Lorient Model -set of 40 Needles

Manufactued from beech wood this screwed wooden hoop measures 8.5″ or 21.5cms and is approximately 0.8mm in height.  These high quality hoops have been expertly made in Istanbul since 1985.

Chenille sewing needles are large eye needles and are identical to a Tapestry or a Cross Stitch Needle in length and in diameter. However, the Chenille point is sharp, rather than round and blunt and is used in the art of crewel embroidery and ribbon embroidery. Originally they were used for chenille work, hence the name.

The needles are presented in a card and the cover depicts six women’s in an Art Nouveau style (19th century).
The interior is a floral print in blue and pink tones.

Each card contains the following needles.

-Sharp point: 6 n°5 long needles, 6 n°7 long needles, 4 n°9 long needles, 2 n°3 darning needles and 2 n°5darning needles.

-Round point: 2 n°20 needles, 4 n°22 needles, 4 n°24 needles, 4 n°26 needles and 6 n°28 needles.
