Sajou 6 Thread Cards Eiffel Tower

This delightful collection of thread and ribbon storage cards feature recreations of antique ephemera and fabrics from the l’uccello archive. They are a beautiful and practical way to store treasured threads, lace and ribbons.

A beautiful set of 40 sewing and embroidery needles, perfect for many sewing darning and embroidery tasks.

The needles are presented in a card and the cover represents a cloth illustrating and called the Trades of the Manufactory from the Museum of Jouy.
The interior is a checkered motif, one of the coordinates from the Sajou Plaisirs de la campagne pink fabric.

Each card contains the following needles.

-Sharp point: 6 n°5 long needles, 6 n°7 long needles, 4 n°9 long needles, 2 n°3 darning needles and 2 n°5darning needles.

-Round point: 2 n°20 needles, 4 n°22 needles, 4 n°24 needles, 4 n°26 needles and 6 n°28 needles.

These needles are made from steel and manufactured in the Bohin factory in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle. Involving 27 different steps and two months before the needles are ready for sale these high quality needles are finished to perfection. An excellent addition to your sewing kit.

Chenille sewing needles are large eye needles and are identical to a Tapestry or a Cross Stitch Needle in length and in diameter. However, the Chenille point is sharp, rather than round and blunt and is used in the art of crewel embroidery and ribbon embroidery. Originally they were used for chenille work, hence the name.

These Vitry embroidery scissors by Sajou are made in France. They bear the name of a village in Haute-Marne (north east France), a region once devoted to the production of scissors. These scissors are perfect for beginners.

Length of scissors: 9.5cm.
They are presented in a foldable cardboard case.
The motif can vary in function of our stocks. Delicately remove the label on the back and it is reusable.
