Limited edition l’uccello Ephemera tote bag kit featuring hexagon shaped Antique Ephemera from our archive. Printed on sturdy cotton drill, it is perfect to embellish as you wish.

The kit includes the pattern, 1 ephemera panel, l’uccello linen/cotton fabric for the reverse outer side & inner pocket and lovely yarn dyed striped fabric for the lining.

The pattern for this lovely & sturdy tote includes diagrams and is easy to follow.

Finished size is approximately: 46cm x 40cm, plus 30cm for the handle,  the hexagons are approximately 7cm x 8cm each.

A beautifully presented set of 40 sewing and embroidery needles, perfect for many sewing, darning and embroidery tasks. The needles are presented in a card featuring three girls embroidering and when opened reveals the needles against an interior floral print in turquoise and orange tones.

Each card contains the following needles -Sharp point: 6 n°5 long needles, 6 n°7 long needles, 4 n°9 long needles, 2 n°3 darning needles and 2 n°5darning needles.-Round point: 2 n°20 needles, 4 n°22 needles, 4 n°24 needles, 4 n°26 needles and 6 n°28 needles. Made in France.

This illustrated pattern & kit includes:

pattern & 1 garden panel printed on linen/cotton fabric

Lining, pocket & tie fabrics.

A collection of small swatches for mostly vintage and antique fabrics to add to your own fabrics for the outside of the huswif & the inner pocket.

A beautiful selection of 21 skeins of DMC embroidery threads in a rainbow of colours, perfect for embellishing the garden panel and huswif.

The embroidery featured on our huswif was beautifully stitched by Glenda Wilson.

Finished size is 20.5cm x 14cm

The huswif is approximately 45 x 29cm finished size when open

& 20cm x 15cm when closed.

Perfect to store your favourite sewing tools and threads. Included in this Slow Stitch Huswif is the pattern and instrucions to complete this project in your choice of fabrics and embellishments. The finished approximate measurements are: Unfolded 38 x 28 cm. Folded 13 x 28 cm. A colaboration between l’uccello and Lisa Mattock.

You will need

A collections of fabrics and embellishments for the outside huswif panels and inner pockets equivalent to approximately 30-40cms of 110cm wide fabric. You will need to allow extra if you plan to do lots of fussy cutting.

Inner lining fabric 38cm x 28cm

Calico backing fabric 40cm x 30cm

This quilt features a fun variation of an old quilt block called Strength in Union, combined with a wonderful scrappy collection of fabrics. It is the perfect project to use up precious scraps or to collect a wide variety of new fabrics. Suitable for hand or machine piecing.

The finished size of the quilt is approximately 80″ x 80″ (Approx 203cm x 203cm)
