A quick update for our lovely American customers on the new system for ordering from us in order to comply with the new US government import tariffs on parcels.
You may be aware that the US government has recently changed the rules regarding all imports to the US except for small gifts under $100, all parcels will require a tariff to be paid by the importer (customer).
The new tariffs that must be paid on all parcels before they are posted to the US and on most items will be 10% but may be less depending in the products country of origin.
Currently we are building a new website and our existing one can’t be modified to make the tariff charge automatic, we hope in the future it will be possible to streamline the check out.
In the meantime after you place an order we will send you a PayPal invoice for the tariff fee (you do not need a PayPal account to pay by this method).
You will be able to pay via PayPal if you have an account, or if not there will be an option for payment by credit card.
We are trying to subsidise the tariffs as much as we can (as we do with the postage). Please get in touch if you need more information or a quote when ordering, there shouldn’t be much extra to pay.
